This is an original SS car with the matching numbers 454/360 HP LS5 automatic bucket seat car. I have had the car since 2001 and when I purchased it. it was about 50 percent restored. It had most of the panels replaced with NOS. the bed chrome was NOS. the rear bumper was NOS and still has the sticker on it. the door weather stripping and felts were NOS. After I got the car home I was not satisfied with the mechanicals so I removed the car from the frame and did the frame. all bushings. new rear posi unit. motor and trans and all new brakes. fuel lines. brake lines and anything else that needed replacing or refurbished was done. The dash was taken out and all the gauges were refurbished. the dash was painted and reinstalled. all new wiring harnesses from the engine compartment to the rear of the car. The seat and harness belts were sent to Snake Oyl Products and restored. the a/c was sent to Classis Air and converted to R134. the original Harrison radiator tanks were removed and used on a new core. The 454 was completely rebuilt. the 400 trans was gone over. new seals installed. The car was originally a gold car and when I got it they changed it to Fathom Blue and changed the interior to black from goldI have pictures of all the work and all the numbers from the motor. trans and right down to the rear brake drums where the dates match the build of the car. I have the a partial build sheet that states the car was sold out of Furman Motor Company Jackson St Tampa Fl. and the Protect O Plate. On the partial build sheet it indicates most of the options and the first 7 digits of the engine stamping located in the vehicle engine box of the build sheet. The items I have changed are: installed headers. I have the original manifolds. Cragar SS wheels . I have the originals with the spare color coded and installed behind the seat with the jack. The radio is not original to the car. the distributor is correct date coded and the carburetor was professionally rebuilt and is the correct one for the car. I also had the original water pump rebuilt and installed. The differential is original and the dates match the build. the posi unit was a new Eaton with 373 Eaton gears. The car was also equipped with the cowl hood option and it works like its supposed to. When I got the car completed in 2002 I took it to Super Chevy in Mohnton. PA and was awarded 2nd place and these things will go with the car and all the restoration pictures with receipts.
