This auction is for a 1989 Corvette Convertible auto. This car runs great and has been thoroughly gone through. Mechanically, she is perfect. Original Brilliant Red or Burgundy color. Freshly painted using PPG primer, PPG color and PPG clear. Passed CA smog with no problems. A/C works. She has an Alpine DVD Navigation stereo with streaming bluetooth. New oil pan, valve cover and transmission gaskets. Absolutely no leaks. Also rebuilt steering pump and rack/pinion. New tie rods and alignment. She steers like new. New master brake booster, master cylinder, calipers, brake hoses and pads. Brake fluid is fresh. New fuel pressure regulator, icm, cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires. All factory spark plug clips have been replaced so the wires are routed properly. Dash works perfectly. Dash lights were replaced with xenon so they are bright and won't burn out the display. Headlights work perfectly. Her interior is decent for a driver, but is what is left to restore her. The carpet is nice, except for the ledge where the door opens. This part is separate from the main carpet and may be able to replace just the ledge. Passenger seat is nice. The power driver side looks ok, but has rips on the lumbar support. The door panels look ok, but should be replaced. They are cracked inside. The power locks click, but aren't moving the locks. The horn does not work.Everything else on this car, including the A/C works. Power windows, electric antenna, interior lights, gauges, side mirrors, etc. all work. The bluetooth automatically connects to your Phone and continues playing once you have connected it. No need to pull out your phone and press play. Also has a Kenwood mini sub with built in amp under front passenger seat. Helps even out the sound with the top down.Overall this is a great running and looking car that needs minimal interior work to be perfect.Body: New paint, no chips, no cracks, no dings. Excellent paint.Mechanical: Great condition, starts right up, idles smooth, does not overheat, shifts smooth, very strong and good acceleration. Many new parts. All maintenance items up to date.Suspension: New rack/pinion, rebuilt steering pump, new tie rods and alignment. BF Goodrich 285/40/17 rear, 255/45/17 fronts. The tread looks good, but the tires are old. She still drives smooth, but I would recommend replacing them.Top: Black convertible top is in decent shape. No rips, but there is a mark on the driver side where the frame folds. Plastic rear window is not yellow. Not super clear, but not too bad. Original color was tan according to codes.Interior: Drivers seat has small rips on lumbar support. Passenger seat is in nice condition. Headrests had a cover going across both of them to deflect wind. This left black smudges. There was a dash kit previously installed so all panels have extra screw holes. Main panel trimmed to fit Alpine double din stereo. Dashpad is cracked. Black carpet cover looks nice. New sunvisors. Door panels look nice, still shut tight, but have cracks internally. Probably the reason for the door locks not working. Steering wheel is worn. Could be the reason for the horn not working. I would replace.Weather stripping: New outter window sweeps. The rest of the weather stripping looks ok, but is old and brittle. I would recommend replacing all of it.
