This listing is for a 1972 Chevrolet Impala custom with a 400 small block Chevy and automatic transmission. I believe the transmission is a turbo 350. The car is in decent solid shape with some Rust to the floorboard, behind the driver seat and the trunk. The frame is solid, and the door rockers are solid, the car is a great candidate for a Restoration. The car is an air conditioning car although the compressor is missing. It has a small block 400 motor that I believe is original to the car, Turbo hydramatic 350. The motor also features and Edelbrock Performer four barrel manifold and Quadrajet carburetor. The car runs strong but is in need of a master cylinder and maybe brake work. The original color was gold with a white interior and a black vinyl roof. The tires are fine and in good shape. The interior is currently black with bucket seats, console and floor shifter. But originally had a bench seat and column shift. The backseat may need to be replaced as it has a rip along the top of it. The car is currently in black and grey primer. There is no headliner in the car, but the rods for one are there. No carpet. The dash pad was just replaced with a GM pad ($500). The car has a new battery that is one month old. The doors, hood, and trunk panels are straight. Fenders have some typical rust. And there is rust here and there on the car in the typical places. The curved glass back window is just awesome and it's quite rare to find today. Glass is Factory tinted, bucket seats are in nice shape for their age, the back seat is there but should be recovered. I have an NOS front bumper with the GM tags still on it that goes with the vehicle as well. All in all this is a nice car to make a hot rod, keep stock or make that low rider. Is not a show car but could be. If you're looking for a turn key show car this is not the car for you. The odometer reads 107000 miles but that is exempt on the title. Keep in mind this car is 46 years old. Thank you for viewing my listing and have a nice day.
