Description of 1963 Chevrolet Impala |
Auction is for a very clean 1963 Impala 2 door hardtop. the car shows 39K miles but the enginewas changed prior to the present owner of 10 years. As shown, it is very clean and straight and has been babied by the present female owner. The car was originally brown with a brown cloth/vinyl interior and now wears a 2 tone green over light green painted top. Please look at the prictures close as the chrome, stainless and aluminum trim is darn near perfect 9 out of a 10 level. Paint is very nice and over 10 years old showing that the workmanship quality was very good underneath. The interior is also very very nice with NO rips/ters or wear spots. Mechanically,it has been garage kept over the last 10 years. Within the past 2 year, brakes and tires have been done. Oil for the motor has been Brad Penn since she owned. It is a small 283 V8 with a 2 speed powerglide that shifts and functions well. It has P/S and Air ( which works ). There have been a couple of small rust repairs done before she owned as evidenced by feeling under the bottoms of the front fenders and rear quarters but there is NO bubbling or anything else showing ( and again she has owned it the last 10 years) --- a good quality repair. She drives the car locally to car cruises for about 500 miles a year as evidenced by the couple of trophies. I am selling it for her as a neighbor but please feel free to call me at 734-9681281 as i have kept up most of the mechanical. It really just needs a new driver to care for her as my neighbor would like to get an older 50s truck. |
