Description of 1969 Chevrolet Corvette |
Beautiful, older restoration. Lots of documented extras. Receipts over $20000, and probably $5000+ of miscellaneous work by local professionals. Chrome is beautiful, and the leather and side panels are gorgeous. The correct radio has modern digital electronics with upgraded speakers and amplifier...while keeping the original and correct appearance. Tri-power and totally rebuilt motor by famous AMT Racing Engines.....AMTRACINGENGINES.COM. All documented with the highest of quality upgrades such as Ross pistons, Keisler Engineering TKO 5 speed transmission with Center Force clutch, and much more. Rated at 464 cubic inch displacement with 550 HP and 600 Ft lbs. of torque, this car is all muscle. Arguably, one of the best driving and most powerful '69, 427/435's out there. A video is available on request to demonstrate the excellent idling behavior and temperatures that remain cool, even in the hot weather- note the engine gauges as the car was idling for the photos. All numbers probably don't match, however a prominent, Bloomington Gold judge finds that the car appears to be an original, 427/435 car with the correct casting number. See his report in pictures. The tachometer, paint code, center console, and other clues seem to substantiate the authenticity of the car. The mileage appears to be 8000+ on an older restoration. With the desirable options of the day- power steering, power brakes, stereo radio, tilt-tele steering column, leather seats, and side pipes, this is one of the finest examples of an excellent driving and beautifully represented, highly collectable icon. Fun, in great condition, at a price that still has upward potential in this famous era of Corvette history. |
