1966 Chevrolet Suburban for Sale 1966 Chevrolet Suburban Stunning $100k+ Build ......please be patient while the many photos load..... PLEASE! LOW & NO FEEDBACK BIDDERS, CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING! 1966 Chevrolet Suburban for sale after a stunning restoration with over $100,000 spent and only driven about 1,000 miles since it's completion. Incredible truck all around with much attention to detail. Professionally built by Dave's Garage Custom Car Shop in Simi Valley, California and completely disassembled down to the last nut and bolt, every single piece was worked, upgraded, and made better than original. The body was removed from the chassis, the chassis powder-coated and reassembled. Body was blocked and sanded until all these huge flat panels where flat. Several of DuPont PS2 Silver and many more coats of DuPont clear to give it that deep luster both inside and out, plus all the inner and outer trim pieces painted to match. Chrome was triple-plated, aluminum polished, new rubber, etc all carefully and properly installed. The brand new crate Chevy small block was put in along with a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission. Power steering, power front disc brakes, new control arms, new bushings, ball joints, shocks, rear control arms, the brake system was completely gone through. Custom body mounts were made to reinstall the body back to the frame to ensure a smooth and quiet ride. Denali chrome 17" wheels with Michelin tires installed. Interior was completely restored using original seating with backs painted to match. The upholstery was done by Eric Thorson Designs in Westlake California from the classic Euro carpet to the custom headliner all done in matched tones to make the interior outstanding, rear side panels were made to match the rear doors and the side doors along with about 13 boxes of sound deadening to make the interior whisper quite. All the rubber, seals and consumable parts where replaced with new and the truck was painstakingly assembled. We added a period correct looking stereo (so we wouldn't have to cut the dash) that has iPod and USB inputs, Vintage Air, air conditioning system was installed and the original instrument cluster was customized with a factory appearing tachometer and vacuum gauge, upgraded steering column and anything else you can think of was done. Fewer than 1000 miles on the Suburban since finished. Currently registered and insured and California title in hand. Over $100,000.00 into building this truck with no expense spared in building what is arguably the nicest 1966 Suburban out there. Call Donn at 844-533-8262. Asking price listed on our site.
