Hello all, I have up for auction my daily driver 1987 GMC Sierra Classic. Its the last year ever made for the square body, and the best. It has the 5.7 fuel injected engine with a 700R4 overdrive transmission. I am the 3rd owner of the truck, I bought it in Alabama and shipped it to my place in Ft lauderdale, FL. I have owned it about a year. I have the original documents that you never see when purchasing a 31 year old truck. The original build sheet, sales brochure, manual, state inspection records. This truck was bought new in Roxboro, NC. Its really a time machine. The rear tailgate panel still has the dealer tag on it from Roxboro. I like to keep the history alive on these old trucks and not replace everything with new shiny stuff. With that said it has undergone a full freshening up to make it 100% reliable. It has to be, its my daily driver. There is 99,028 miles on it. I can see them being true, it runs flawless, shifts perfect. Doors don't sag, and shut nice. Has dual gas tanks that work, gas gauges work on both tanks. Thats rarely seen. Air conditioning will freeze you out, 38 degrees out the vent. Hot heat will roast you. The short list, thats not so short of items that I have upgraded to make it solid and look good too. Engine - Stock 5.7, tune up, full stock ignition system with distributor, plugs wires and cap. Air cleaner, radiator, hoses, A/C Compressor, Optima battery. Under hood insulation pad. Transmission serviced. Has single exhaust into single turbo muffler. Polished stainless tip. No catalytic converter, but can easily be re installed if needed. Original smog pump is still on truck if you need that in your state. Brake system - All new rotors, bearings, pads, drums, calipers and wheel cylinders, brake hoses. Stops well. Exterior - First repaint since new. Original paint was in fair shape but was showing its age. So a full repaint using top of the line material, PPG Concept in factory Frost White. All belt line trim was replaced with new. New bumpers, grill, surround, headlight bezels. Wheel well trim, maker lights and tail lights. Side mirrors, has class 3 trailer hitch, under bed mounted spare tire. New front and rear glass. new rubber seals. New door handles. Has 20" American racing Torq Thrust wheels. 20x8 front and 20x10 rear. Tires fit nice and do not rub. Rear tire is big, fills wheel well nicely. Suspension - Truck has Bell Tech suspension under it, 4/6 drop with drop shocks. Truck rides absolutely stock, nice ride quality. Has frame notch so you has still tow with it and load the bed. I haul big block chevy engines and transmissions. No issues. Trailer towing is fine. Haul bikes? Nice, tailgate is low to load the bike. Bed - Bed floor is super clean not beat at all, I wanted to keep it that way. So it has a drop in bed liner. Pace Edwards retractable bed cover to secure the belongings. Has lift hooks in stake pockets for tie downs. Like I said I use this truck, it never misses a beat. Interior - New headliner on ABS plastic so you will never have to worry about the factory backing breaking. New dash cover, new carpet. Original seat is in good shape, as well as factory door panels. Power windows have fast relay kit in them to speed them up a bit. New lock and power window switches. Window tint. Has Kenwood CD Bluetooth stereo with mic. Works great and sounds nice. Has 6x9 Infinity corner speakers, factory style stock dash speakers. Now, why sell? Im looking to buy a house and can use the funds. Whats wrong? Im straight up, its a great truck. It doesn't leak anything, oil, trans. Nothing. Sometimes it will puff a little smoke when started. Thats it. More info at nine54-695-134one. I know what these trucks bring and my reserve is completely fair. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!
