Description of 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle

1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS ChevelleI am listing this car for my neighbor. who bought the car about a year ago. He had decided that he would like to get back to having just one collector car instead of two cars. The car is finished in Cortez Silver on a straight body with no rust. dings. dents or scratches. The stainless on the car is in excellent condition as are the bumpers. the rear bumper has a small scratch in it. All of the glass is in good condition and the rear and the side windows are tinted. The engine is badged as a 502. (done by the previous owner) but the car is really a 454 with block code T0726TDH. It has an aluminum intake and single line Edelbrock 4 barrel. It is equipped with HEI ignition with small high torque starter. power steering and Flowmaster headers and mufflers. It has manual drum brakes. Behind the engine is a 700R4 transmission and Mosure rear end with 4:11 gears. It has coil springs with air shocks in the rear. It also has an electric fuel pump and new fuel tank. The tires are like new with the front 215/45ZR17 and the rear 255/45R 17 mounted on 17 inch chrome American Racing Wheels. The interior has custom cloth seats. door panels and padded dash. There is a new headliner and visor covers. All the gauges are stock and are clear and functional. All the lights and turn signals work as they should. however the horn and wipers don't work. The air conditioning is not complete and the heater doesn't work. There are also gauges under the dash that haven't been connected. The trunk has been completed with new black carpet. The battery is located in the trunk under a carpeted box. along with the stereo amplifier and hidden AM/FM antenna. The car includes a few extra parts including a chrome alternator. chrome high torque starter. and a tub of small parts and a car cover. The reserve is low!
