1970 CHEVELLE SSFactory Big Block TH400 Automatic carCar was built in the Leeds Kansas plant Jan 1970, Previous owner has had the car since the early 90's, kept indoors in garage throughout the year. Has been a street/track car most it's life although he did street drive it more than raced it these days. Ran the car in the Hot Rod Fastest Street Car series winning Real Street, King of Street among other titles. Many great memories with this car and by selling - it provides an opportunity for someone else to drive, enjoy and create their own memories.Mechanically, the 396ci V8 under the hood (non numbers matching) runs great and starts at the turn of the key. Nice driving car that is overall nice and tight. Transmission shifts well and rear end is nice and solid.Body is very nice and solid, previously repainted and shows well for its age as a driver quality street/track car. Does not appear to have any rust issues, nor has had any major rust repair in the nearly 3 decades previously owned.
