1954 Chevrolet BelAir "House Car". Here's your chance to own an extremely rare example of Vintage American Camping History. This vehicle was factory built in 1954 by The Van Bibber Company in Indianapolis, 1954. It is rumored to be just 1 of 5 produced at the time, and may be the only one left. Don't have any proof of this, but have not been able to find any others.
Overall very good condition considering. Runs and drives quite well, but It is in stock condition. 6cylinder, 3 speed on the column, 8 volt, drum brakes, 12ply tires, etc. The "HOUSE" itself is in amazing condition. We have camped in it several times. Very fun. Have not run furnace but looks like it will work. Window AC unit is ice cold.
Has been repainted once, not the best job but the sheet metal, rockers etc are very solid overall. Has one spot on front corner of HOUSE that bumped something. Has clearly been stored inside most its life, no water damage. Skin of camper has a some dings here and there from general use.
This piece of History could be used as advertising, small business, restored, museum piece etc. Very Rare, and is without question the talk of any show.
