Description of 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

The 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air is huge in the collector car market, but 60 years later, not all are presented equally. This example has been restored with amazing paint, a custom leather interior, four-wheel disc brakes, and much more. So if you enjoy being both distinct and custom, read on... You already know why these cars are special. Chevrolet made these as a one-year-only design, and so we all tend to take notice when one arrives. But it's not just history that makes this one grab attention. There has been a solid investment in a modern Bronze Metallic paint that has a terrific glow in the sunshine. It was expertly applied to this classic, and so even the details are right - like how the bronze streak continues in the side trim. And speaking of the trim, this was a terrific year for brightwork. Not only does it provide a great separating line for the white in this two-tone hardtop, but also it frames unique elements like the tailfins that run from the door all the way until they wrap around the rear. And of course, no '50s classic is complete without big chrome bumpers, so you'll really appreciate the mirror-like quality of these. The final touch of shine comes from the chrome alloy wheels that are staggered 17/20 inches front/rear for an aggressive stance. These modern rims on the classic body give a clear signal that this is a custom machine. The pillarless hardtop setup allows people to get a good view of the interior, and that's going to make you extra happy. There was a solid investment to have the seats, door panels, dash, headliner, and even the trunk custom finished in a bronze and white that coordinates with the exterior. This is the kind of full uniform package that you only see on the best custom builds. But this was not just made for showing of, and you realize that the moment you sit down on the comfortable leather seats. The vintage steering wheel and all your gauges look quite correct, but the clarity also tells you they have benefited from a nice investment. Plus, the custom center console housed an AM/FM/CD stereo with plenty of modern features, including a touchscreen and well-integrated subwoofer. Just like the rest of the car, the engine bay has received some nice custom investments. The smooth bronze inner walls match nicely with the air topper and ribs of the bright valve covers. But also just like the rest of the car, this never loses its vintage spirit. That's why you have a period-correct 283 cubic-inch V8. Topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, you get good power and a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. And a car this nice is meant to be seen everywhere. So with features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and an upgrade to four-wheel disc brakes, they made it great to drive everywhere. This is a very cool custom that was built to be impressive to everyone, including the driver. So if you love a great '58 Chevy like we do, don't miss this one. Call today!!!
