Description of 1970 Chevrolet Corvette 300hp |
This an excellent Survivor condition 1970 Corvette 350ci, 300hp with 4 speed manual transmission. This is a numbers matching car that was sold as a 300hp car but has had the proper LT1 cylinder heads, cam, intake manifold, valve covers, Holley carburetor and OE factory Lt1/Bigblock hood installed. This package in the LT1 cars made an awesone 370hp. The only other modification are the headers and side pipes. This car had been stored for quite sometime indoors. It has recently been gone through and turned back into a driver. The engine starts up with out any smoking and has great oil pressure and runs very smooth. There are no major oil leaks or coolant leaks on the car. The choke flap has been removed from the carburetor so it does take a few minutes to warm up but then idles perfectly. The clutch feels great and the trans shifts very smooth and is very quiet. All brake lines and hoses as well as calipers and brake pads have been replaced and the brakes work very well. The car runs and drives very well without and vibration or noises. Most of the electrical is working as it should such as all exterior lights and turn signals but the vacuum actuated headlights re not flipping up. Inside the oil pressure gauge, speed and tach work but no other gauges or radio are working at this time. The interior is in awesome survivor condition for almost 50 years old and shows no signs of being wet. There are a few trim pieces, one window crank, visor and a few other odds and ins missing. Outside the body is in good shape with no signs of major fiberglass repairs but does have patina and shows it's age. There is no over spray anywhere and it is possible this is an original paint car. We won't guarantee this though. We have many more pictures available including under carriage pictures please just ask and we will get them to you. This is a very good opportunity to take this car to the next level while being able to enjoy it right away off the trailer. We can assist with shipping anywhere in the US for 60-80 cents per mile from 37918 zip. This is a NO RESERVE auction and this car will sell so bid early and don't wait.
