Description of 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle chevelle

After nearly 12 years of owning this great car, its time to pass it along. Up for sale is an original (near) 1 owner 1967 chevelle. This car is like it came from the dealer and I have a mountain of paperwork that goes with it. This car is ermine white (original paint) with maroon (original) interior. Has a 283, powerglide, and a factory positraction rearend. Also, original, matching, stamped wheels with dog dish hubcaps. Original bias ply is in the trunk with the jack. Also even though this is a 4 door, this one was ordered with all the chevelle malibu trim package! I have other classics, but this one is the head Turner. Everyone loves this car. Its It's not perfect but it is original with a great documented story to go with it.

So, here is what I know about the car and its history. Gordon and Margaret halverson factory ordered the car on October 20th 1966. They ordered the car from their sons Chevrolet dealership halverson Chevrolet in Port Orchard, WA. They owned the car up until their 90s. Gordon passed away, then Margaret. The son took ownership of the car, he was near 70. He then passed and his best friend ended up with the car by default. He had no interest so sold it to a car guy who had a massive wearhouse full of classics. This is where I come in and purchase the car. My understanding is all this changing of hands happened in a short timespan.

Now, gordon and Margaret kept an unbelievable amount of paperwork. I have the factory order invoice, all warranty papers, protecto plate, build sheet, original pink slip, and the cancelled check they wrote for the car, from the halversons to Halverson Chevrolet. Also, there are letters sent from the dealer to the halversons about their trade in, and receipts from every bit of work that was ever done to the car. Tires, headlights, exhaust, etc. Its amazing!

You will be hard pressed to find a more complete car/story/paperwork. I hate to let it go, but its it's time for someone else to enjoy. This is a rare barn find of one of the most sought after body styles.
