1972 Chevelle SS LS6 454ciThis Chevelle hasn't been offered for sale to the public in over 3 decades. Very rare Placer Gold in color. The car was fully restored 15 yrs ago and has had less than 1000 miles since the rebuild. This car was purchased in Edmonton Alberta from Don Wheaton LTD and was built in Oshawa Ontario January 13. 1972. I am the 4th owner of this car. I have the GM original Build Sheet. AMA Specification Form. GM Service Manual. GM Overhaul Manual. and GM 1972 Chevelle Sales Brochure. The car has 5 coats of base paint. 6 coats of clear coat and hasn't seen snow. rain. or even soap or wax since prior to 1998. I only wash dust off the car with clear water to prevent wax or chemical build up on the paint. There is one very different item I noticed on the block of this engine when it was rebuilt. on the cast block itself. it has in bold letters "Bad Ass" in the cast of this block. I did try and research this through GM but couldn't get a definite answer on the wording. nbsp;perhaps you can. The car has 84 697 original miles. This Chevelle is an original SS (from the factory. not a clone car). Turbo 400 Auto tranny. 330 gears in a 12 bolt rear end and ALL chrome was redone.
