Description of 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS |
This is an excellent deal for the right buyer. The vehicle is a 1972 Chevelle real SS with accompanying buildsheet, and original sale paperwork. It is a factory A/C, red with black stripes, no vinyl roof, black interior vehicle. A great list of desirable options. Mileage is at 39,069 and is believed to be actual although exempted. Car was within a week of completion(wasn't going to paint it), when the "rebuilt" motor that came with the car, ate a ring the third test start, and began blowing smoke out of the passenger side pipe. I have a home issue that needs handling, so I do not have the time or resources to slap a new crate motor in. Just grab another new one from a GM dealer for $1600 and call it a day, or put a race motor in it. Either way you will own a real SS and it will hold the value. I finished all the little things that were left to do to get it together, and putting it up for sale now. Easily $30k invested without the motor in hundreds of hours of labor and parts. What I'm asking is what I want for it, I could part it out for this price. Good buy for someone to drop in a crate motor or ring job, paint, and drive year round air-conditioned. That is it really. The pictures will definitely show the amount of money, time, care, and attention to detail that went into this car, and I have hundreds more. Obviously car is being sold as is where is. Car runs and drives, but not strong. I have a clear title in my name, the car is currently registered, and insured. I included a list of services, and parts that have been put into this vehicle. I hope this goes to someone that truly appreciates the car. Thank you for looking. If you have zero feedback please contact me before buying.
