This freshly restored 1971 Chevrolet 3/4 Ton 4x4 pickup has the shining personality, big bed, overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and big block power to be ideal for work AND play. A cool two-tone has always been a distinctive style on vintage pickups. It also helps that the blue and white paintwork was part of the recently completed full restoration. So it greatly outshines any factory application. And speaking of shine, there was also a nice investment in the bumpers, grille, headlight bezels, and plenty of details to keep this one looking so bright. Because this is an upmarket Cheyenne Super it comes with some nice full-length body trim. Those straight lines do a get job of not only highlighting the straight bodywork, but also provide a real dividing line for the two-tone. But more than just look great, this one is desirable for its real truck duty. The lifted 4x4 stance with strong and bright Weld wheels make a lasting impression. Plus, the long bed of this extra-duty 3/4-ton truck has a spray-in bedliner that will haul back the lumberyard without showing the aftermath. Inside is a fresh, bright, and blue presentation. They had an eye for keeping it vintage during the restoration with the metallic blue on the seats that coordinates nicely with the door panels, dash, and carpeting. But there are also the right comfort upgrades, like the AM/FM/CD stereo and sliding rear window. Plus, the newer Chevy steering wheel still gives you a clear view of the full gauge panel, including tach in the middle. One look under the hood, and you really understand how extensive the restoration was and how fresh it all is. The big 454 cubic-inch V8 was installed around 200 miles ago! It has been upgraded with the right components, including a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, HEI ignition, and long tube headers that feed a growling 3-inch dual exhaust. So while the smooth and tidy engine bay looks too nice to get muddy, you know you've got the power to really pull you through the worst Mother Nature has. This same beautiful-but-capable feeling continues as you look at the undercarriage. Shining components, fresh bushings, and an absolutely clean presentation reminds you again how fresh the build is. And you have a strong Dana 44 axle in the front, Dana 60 in the rear, and a two-speed transfer case in-between to provide serious off-road ruggedness. But this is a thoughtful build for much more than just when the pavement ends. The four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and 700R4 four-speed transmission w/overdrive are welcomed upgrades for everything from on the highway to blazing your own trail. Complete with paperwork for the transmission, this is the bright, powerful, and all-around well-restored classic 4x4. So if you know that rugged can also be premium, don't miss this truck.
