Description of 1986 Chevrolet El Camino |
1986 Chevy El Camino is great shape! Two tone paint that shines like new and looks amazing. Interior/headliner is all new and shows perfectly as well. a stock 305 cleaned and decked out in Edelbrock hardware, and an automatic transmission- she runs great, and drives out like a dream. Rolling on 20 inch Iroc rims and new tires- it turns heads where ever it goes. Custom stealth front grill and Rhino lined bed finish it off nicely. New Boss BT stereo, Fosgate 6x9's in boxes behind the seat, and a DB sub and box pushed by a Crunch 1000 watt amp. Not a show car- but a very, very clean one. Air shocks in the rear- dual exhaust with Flowmasters, she rumbles nicely. New battery, and a manual battery kill switch in it when sitting for any long period of times. Has a brand new A/C system that will freeze you out. Driving this car is like floating on air- it rides so smooth. Transmission shifts smooth and well, (but I would have liked to put a shift kit in it to get a little sharper shift.) Autocheck says odometer goes from 90k miles to 190k miles the same month in 2005. Not sure why, I did not own it during that time frame. So miles may be a little off? Now for the things needed to complete her- inside the cab the upper trim piece above the front windshield is missing- the lower trim behind the seat is also missing. I have found these parts- but they break when trying to remove them. So far, I have not found them after market. The windshield has a crack in the passenger top side it's not running, but there none the less. Bumpers are there, but look there age- still chrome, but need to be re-chromed or replaced (new ones on here run about $200 each). None of these take away from her presentation- just things that need to be addressed in my opinion. This car is not a show car- it has a few little flaws, but looks great, runs great, sounds great, and still turns plenty of heads. Try putting gas in her without someone asking you about it. I hate to sell it, but I have 7 cars and never really drive her that often (hence the battery cut off). Whoever gets her will have a great dependable car. Now for the fun stuff, (I hate this part- it makes me sound like a d*ck) - I will not finance it- I will not hold it- I am not interested in any trades- and any bidders with less than 10 feedbacks will be deleted unless contacting me first. This El Camino is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please have all of your finances in order before bidding- don't need any angry wives/husbands over it. I will not haggle with a buyer once they come to pick it up. I have been truthful and honest about the condition of this car. Don't show up expecting to pay less- (never intending to pay selling price) -I'll relist it. Cheers and Happy Bidding! |
