1971 Chevrolet Chevelle 454 SS LS5 real deal-not a clone. Frame up restoration- every nut and bolt 10 years ago. Prior old show car before restoration (World of Wheels- new orleans at the rivergate in 80's). Over $20K in restoration cost have detailed receipts and pictures for new owner. LS5 454 Comp. .590/.598 cam, .060 bore, Forged piston, rods, steel crank Manley balanced. AED 850 carb. MSD Dist 6AL 6800 redline, Dyno 540 hp, Oval port heads with oversize 2.240 valves, Machine work by Harahan machine, Heads by Al Petry. TH400 transmission, manual valve body with reversed shift pattern, harden internals, 3400 10" converter, no trans brake (does have line lock) Moser 12 bolt 33 spline axles with 456 gears- girdle (stock 12 bolt has been restored and goes with car) Also have Eaton posi-unit to include as well. Stock restored wheels with radials on front and Nitto drag radials on car currently. Custom off set Bogarts in pictures included with slicks and front runners (like new 4 passes). Car has been down track 4 times with a best of 11.40 quarter (ran out of fuel at end of track due to small sending unit restriction) so it has more in it. Have factory ac comp. and bracket but not currently on car. Heavy but Fast car- original and did not want to cut it up to go faster.
