Description of 1957 Chevrolet Other |
This is an ultra Rare 1957 Chevy Step Van. It runs but is definitely a project truck. I live in a small town and I drive it out to shows to sell differentfood items. The Good.
It appears in these 2 videoshttps://vimeo.com/219909218https://vimeo.com/217123791 This rare vehicle was an actual bread truck for the famous Parisian Bread Company, which produced San Francisco's signature sourdough bread for over 100 years until closing its doors in 2005. It was built by the American Body Company of Lynnwood, and they only made 148 of this body style. This is one of very few remaining, and it is well preserved for its age. It's a '57 Chevy (second series) chassis. It is titled as a 1957 Chevrolet. The body is fiberglass with plywood backing, and the roof is steel. It is very straight, with no dents and just a few minor dings. • New tires • Full tune-up - spark plugs & wires, distributor cap, etc. • All fluids changed • Transmission serviced • Brakes completely redone - master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes • All wheel studs replaced • New wheel bearings front & rear • New battery • Carburetor rebuilt The van is 19'2" long, 6'10" wide, and 9'2" high. The interior has 6'2" of standing room, and measures about 15' from the driver seat to the rear doors. |
