Description of 1967 Chevrolet El Camino |
Beautifully built 1967 Chevrolet El Camino 396. This build was given consideration to the smallest details. Painted a house of colors candy paint, fully restored. Color sanded and buffed, new interior, new dash and console. CD player with 10" JBL speakers and 6x9 boxes. This 1967 boasts a Big Block 396 with a muncie 4 speed and 12 bolt posi. Bench seats with a console and center armrest. This big block - 4 speed El Camino's are rare. I have verifiable communications with GM classic division confirming the origins of this vehicle and engine along with information regarding them. The engine was verified by GM, being built in Tonawanda, NY plant, in February 1, 1966. 396 cid V8/325hp with Turbo Hydra-Metic A.I.R (Air Injection Reactor California Only) originally installed in the Chevelle, Bel Air, Impala etc. The Vehicle itself is a Fremont, CA built vehicle 13680 ID sequence which is a "custom" El Camino V8-Cylinder. This vehicle was first sold by Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose - no longer in business or existence, but an iconic Chevrolet staple here here in California. As you may or may not know, the SS396 was not offered on El Camino's until 1968. Prior to this, El Camino's in this model sequence, could be "custom" ordered with not only 396 cid, but bucket seats to name a few. This paving the way to the birth of the SS for the El Camino line. Prior to 1977, GM/ Chevrolet did not archive any records, thus this is as close to verified authenticity, hence reflecting in the asking price. This vehicle was restored and custom built by Royal Tradition Classics @royal_tradition_classics, visit us on Instagram. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I can show verified communications by GM. Vehicle is sold in 'as-is' condition and no warranties are provided. All sales are final. 1967 El Camino 396 Video will open in a new window Using the mobile app?
