Description of 1969 Chevrolet C-10 Chevy |
Up for Auction ((( AGAIN ))) is a 1969 C-10 With a V8 and a 4 Speed manual Transmission. Please do not bid if you don't have any feedback ( Unless you send me a message first) I had a buyer that never responded after winning the auction. Over the years I have had about 4 of these trucks, This one has been my favorite. I bought it from an estate two years ago. The previous owner bought the truck in 1978. Most of the truck has original paint. ( Parts of the Drivers side bedside looks like it was repainted at one time. It has has typical rust for the age. I did a small repair on the passengers side cab corner and Rocker panel. The paint was then touched up to match existing patina. Please request more pictures if I missed anything. I would love to keep this truck but, I currently don't have the time to properly enjoy it, Its a real head turner. Truck has been lowered front and rear, using a kit from Brothers trucks. Wheels and Tires: Factory wheels have been sandblasted and powder-coated white. Tires are brand new Mile Maker white wall tires. ( Under 200 Miles) Front suspension: New lowering springs, matched with the correct height shocks. New Moog Ball joints upper and lower. Energy Suspension Sway bar bushings. New front Brake hoses. Inner and outer bearings recently repacked with a new inner wheel bearing seals. Rear Suspension: New lowering springs, matched with the correct height shocks. The rear shocks have been relocated using the Brothers trucks kit, giving it the proper geometry with the new ride height. Engine: Typical 350 Small Block. It has a new Edelbrock Perfomer Intake manifold and a 1406 Carburator. Performance billet HEI distributor. Newer plugs, wires and Oil change. Runs great. Transmission: New gear oil. First gear is a "Granny gear" I don't even use it when i'm driving around town. Unless on a steep incline. Brakes: Factory Drum Brakes front and rear. New Master Cylinder, front rubber lines, 3 out of the 5 front steel lines have also been replaced. System has been flushed. Differential: limited slip, new fluid and gasket. The Differential cover has 4:10 written on it with paint pen, I suspect this to be accurate. Interior: Newer seat cover with new foam. Seat cover is not perfect but nicer than most. New sun visors with sun visor brackets. Noico 80 Mil sound deadening material has been applied to floor. New rubber floor mat installed. AM radio buzzes but does not find many stations. Doors have new perimeter seals, and window scrapers, as well as window run weathersrips Small issues I would fix if I where to keep the truck. Drivers door needs to be adjusted a little better, it will not always latch the first time if there isn't a little downword pressure. Drivers window regulator should be replaced, the window does roll up and down, but takes a little work. Truck is sold as-is.I can help with shipping up to 300 miles away (Truck and Trailer) Longer distances I could help with coordination. Thanks again for looking, feel free to email me with any questions small or large. Have a great day. |
