Description of 1965 Chevrolet C-10 |
1965 Chevy Truck C-10 Step Side (ground up restoration) with all the receipts One of our dearest friends sent this beautiful Chevy truck to a restoration shop. The restoration shop took the truck completely apart and started the restoration by powder coating the frame and buying all new parts such as interior, glass, rubber, instruments, lines, brakes, tires, radiator, and on and on and on. They even replaced every bolt and screw on the truck. The only thing that was rebuilt was the engine and transmission. Everything except the engine and transmission was replaced with brand new parts. After 3 years of restoration, and over $23,000 worth of receipts for parts alone, our friend finally got tired and pulled the truck out of the shop and brought it to us. We sent the truck to another shop, one we know and trust, and they finished the restoration by installing the wire harness, exhaust, a new battery and the old girl came to life and runs beautifully. This added over $3,000 to the restoration cost. This Chevy C-10 truck comes with a straight six engine and standard transmission on the column. We have all the receipts for the parts which will go with the truck. The best way to explain it is, this is literally a brand new truck with two miles on it. The only thing we have not done to it is to install the wooden boards in the bed of the truck. We have all the hardware and metal ribs for installing the wooden bed still brand new in the box. I made a couple short videos of the truck running. Please send me your phone number if you would like me to send it to you via text. I can also send you more pictures. The truck comes with a clear Texas titlealong with all the receipts and pictures. Even though the truck is in mint condition, it is not a hundred point show truck, but it is close. The only thing the truck needs is the wood for the bed. All the metal ribs and hardware for installing the wood in the truck bed has already been purchased and will go with the truck. What is good about the truck: It is a Texas truck with a clear Texas title. It has had a complete ground up restoration and all the parts, wiring, glass, rubber, engine, transmission, interior, tires, and exhaust are brand new. In short, everything is brand new. It only needs to be driven and adjusted/tuned as well as inspected before you drive it a long distance. What is not complete with the truck: The wood for the bed needs to be purchased and installed. It needs a radio. It needs one more hub cap. It needs some adjustment/alignment to make the doors and hood align perfectly. It needs to be driven. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Remember that this classic truck is 54 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $300 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The car will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally. |
