1972 MONTE CARLO CUSTOM FACTORY 402 BIG BLOCK

1972 Monte Carlo Custom, 402 big block, 400 turbo, 12 bolt rear, disc brakes, ac, cruise control, F41 suspension inc rear sway bar. Engine runs very good, runs & drives but is NOT roadworthy, will need work. Vehicle has been sitting in a garage since 1990.

Vehicle has a new fuel tank & sending unit, new rubber fuel hoses, new fuel pump, new rear wheel cylinders, new ft calipers, new HEI distributor, cap, wires, spark plugs, rebuilt original quadrajet carb, oil & filter change, trans fluid & filter change, new air filter. A/C compressor turns free.

Needs, tires, headlamps do not work, new switch included, wipers do not work. used motor included, needs tailpipes. Left rear footwell floor pan needs to be replaced. Toe boards have some soft spots, some minor bubbles under vinyl top, some surface rust under rear top molding, some rust in rear of left quarter panel and bottoms of fenders. Doors, deck lid, hood, rt quarter very solid. Headliner needs to be replaced as well as carpets & ft seat cover. Ft seat tracks & lower frame have some corrosion issues. Interior hadwater intrusionup to the bottom of the ft seatseveral years ago causing the rust issues. Exterior paint is faded, car was original silver

This car isNOT a SS454, emblems installed by owner many years ago. Per Monte Carlo sites, the Custom took the place of the SS in 72, includes sport mirrors & wide belt moldings.

This is an overall very good car to restore or to make roadworthy. The owner has owned this car since 1977, he quit driving it in 1990. Was wanting to get up on on its feet & running which is what we did. Selling for him.
