I have a beautiful 1978 Chevy Corvette for sale. I started this project last year, car restoration is 95% complete, interior and exterior. Pulled original engine, sent it out to the machine shop had bored and honed. Installed new bearings, pistons, crankshaft, camshaft and replaced with newer vortec heads and intake, has new steering control valve installed, rebuilt headlight vacuum lift assemblies and headlight work as they should, lots of other new parts, wouldn't take much to finish it up. Car cranks and runs good but after it warm up and you drive it it smokes a bit, don't know why, could be something simple, don't know, tired of messing with it. Hate to see it just sitting around under car cover, ready to pass it on to someone else and let it be there project. Car is great, just too small for me and my girlfriend looking for something more comfortable to cruise around in or on. Many new parts, A/C blows cold, new stereo, interior and exhaust. Insured through Hagerty which was valued at $12,500.00, I will consider any REASONABLE offer.
