Description of 1962 Chevrolet Corvette

This 62 Corvette has traveled less than 2100 miles since a frame off rebuild was completed. We started with a nice body which every part was taken off of and then mounted on a rotisserie. The body was media blasted to bare fiberglass inside and out including the complete underside. Then the bare fiberglass was repaired, bodyworked, and primed and block sanded until each panel was perfectly straight. All door, hood, and trunk gaps are beautiful. PPG paint products were used throughout the complete process. Finally the body was painted with a PPG silver pearl with 3 coats of clear on top. The clearcoat was color sanded and buffed to a show quality finish.
For the chassis, we contacted Newman Car Creations where Paul Newman built a brand new custom chassis for this car complete with C4 Corvette suspension, stainless fuel tank, stainless fuel and brake lines, and all of the custom treatments available.
The engine is a brand new GM 430 HP 6.2 liter LS3. The transmission is a 6 speed Tremec. That combination along with the Newman chassis makes this car is an absolute blast to drive. Never ending power and torque put through the upgraded rear end means you'll have a hard time keeping the tires from spinning when you step on the gas. The LS3 fires right up and sounds awesome through the dual exhaust.
Options include Vintage Air, 4 wheel power disk brakes with slotted and drilled rotors and power rack and pinion steering. Front brakes have BAER calipers. Tires are Yokahama 245/45/17's.
Everything is new, rebuilt,or restored including all chrome, wiring, gauges, Ididit steering column, weatherstrips, etc. Doors, hood, and trunk all open and close like a new car.
The interior is completely new also including the black convertible soft top, black carpet, seat upholstery and seat foams, door panels, etc.
The original hard top was completely restored also with a new back window, headliner, chrome, etc.
This car is fully functional and can be driven anywhere. No expense was spared to make this a show quality car.
