The famous 409 V8 with dual 4 barrel carburetors is an excellent power plant mated behind the manual 4 speed transmission. This engine was made famous by the Beach Boys with their hit '409'.The red bucket seats, dash and console are just out right beautiful to look at when sitting behind the wheel. This Impala has a very smooth ride and almost floats down the road. The undercarriage was painted a great matte red color that really pops with the gloss frame rails and suspension components.
