This 1959 Chevrolet 3100 Panel Truck hasn't been on the road in 12 years. I started what appears to be the original engine and it seemed to run fine with no smoke, but the gas tank needs cleaning and the carb rebuilt. I changed the points and it started right up. It's a project and would be a great truck to restore. It doesn't have a lot of rust just a few smaller places on the exterior and some in the front floors, under the seat and the rear wood floor is in good condition. The roof has no rust, but has a small sun roof, the metal piece that was cut out is inside. The driver side quarter panel in the rear needs repair, the rear doors close good, but the center latch needs work it looks like a piece is missing.. I broke the drivers side lower hinge pin while changing the door for an undented one. The frame and undercarriage are in excellent condition. It has a three speed manual transmission on the column. The truck needs going through before it is a driver, or restoring. I can store it for a awhile nail pickup. It has fallen out of the California DMV system I will provide a bill of sale on a California DMV Form.
