1961 Chevy Impala Bubbletop. I have owned it for 35 years. It is a project car.Has not run since 2007. The impala had a bad head, the valves got bent.I do not know why this happen. In 2016 I removed the head and purchased a new head and had it machined and it was assembled with all new parts. I also removed the oil pan so I could check the alignment of the timing gears. The timing gears never went out of alignment. The head, oil pan and all other part need to be put back on. I have all the parts.I just do not have the energy to do it anymore. It has the original cast iron powerglide. I used this car on weekends in the summer. It has been garaged for the last 35 years. It is always been in Mass. but it has been taken care of.It would also be a perfect project for a V8 engine swap. The body and paint are pretty good. Rust free fenders, decent doors, good frame, amateur restoration on rockers and quarters. Repainted 30 years ago in lacquer but it is showing its age. Interior is very clean but not original. Has front grill guard. No dents or accident damage. Floors and trunk are solid. The brakes need to be bled. All tires have good thread.1961 Impala full size hub caps are installed.I have many parts for this car which can be purchased separately.I have rust free fenders, doors for hardtop/convertible, hoods, rust free quarters cut from 4 door, oem replacement seat covers and foam cushions, etc.Car does not have a title it will come with a bill of sale as this is all you need in MassachusettsCar is located in Everett, Ma.
