Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne |
Ready to sell my truck I've adored for the last 7 years when I bought it out of Kansas. I didn't get a lot of history but was told paint & light restoration was 10 years old then, so paint is approx. 17 years old now (still looks good!). I've replaced the entire interior to bring it back to stock. Nice AM radio with new correct speaker, new seat cover, carpet, door panels, etc. Tried to keep the whole truck stock as it came from the factory. The steering wheel is nice, no cracks or splits, tilt column added by previous owner. I added factory Tachometer, all gauges work as they should. All numbers match perfect on frame, cab, glove box, and title. The engine pad number was milled off when the engine was rebuilt by previous owner so technically you should assume this is not the original 350.Also of interest, heater core and starter replaced in last 12 months. I installed NOS parts when possible, including outside door handles and mirrors recently.Has mild performance cam that was in it when I bought it. Quadrajet carb has been recently been rebuilt by Bob Stone, the Carb Doctor. This truck starts, runs, and drives the great. Distributor is electronic HEI for reliability. Factory air conditioned, converted to R134a and runs good and cold. Heater / defrost is perfect. All lights, turn signals, etc. are perfect. The 350 turbo hydramatic transmission has a mild shift kit that shifts quickly/quietly, a nice upgrade.Dual aluminized exhaust with Flow Master mufflers, some rumble but not too loud. Clean and dry underneath, 99% rust free. The only rust spot is under battery where radiator support meet fender well, about 6" long, not bad. It has never gotten worse since it's always garaged. Master Craft tires like new, 235x75xR15 white walls. Brakes (front disc, rear drums) were done 18 months ago, spent $1500 on them to replace everything (calipers, rotors, etc. New shocks are KYB gas-a-just. Have all receipts from last 7 years, included with sale. Car cover included with truck.Edit: Bed mat not included.Edit: No trades. Truck odometer = 3280. Not sure of exact mileage, listed 225k because it has probably rolled over twice. I am requiring $500 deposit within 24 hours of sale. Balance will be wire transfer or cash.If deposit is not made within 24 hours, I will cancel the sale and plan to relist in a different venue. I can store the truck for a week or two to accommodate shipping. Please, no games, no B.S. I know I am forgetting some stuff so give me a call with questions.Larry 502-501-1037 between 8am and 9pm EST |
