Description of 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute

1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS "Tribute”. This is one of my favorite personal drivers and looks absolutely stunning in this very rare White/White color combination. This color combination was only available for a very short time during the 72-73 production years. Unfortunately 1972 was also a "strike year" and over 1,100 Camaros were crushed after the strike due to not being able to meet new seat belt, emission, and bumper restrictions. The result was one of the lowest production years ever for the Chevrolet Camaro.

This Camaro is an eye catcher and crowd favorite at nearly every show and event we attend with it. The paint is gorgeous and one of the brightest whites there is. The white interior is in very good condition and is the neatest feature of this car. The entire interior cabin is sound proofed with Dynamat to reduce noise and vibration which is a great feature. It has new "17" Boss 338 wheels and BFG Comp 2 tires. It is an all original sheet metal car with only the bottoms of the rear quarters replaced some time ago. The trunk pan and rear tail light panel are also nice and solid unlike many of them due to the tail lights leaking over the years. It has the split bumper which is loved by many. The cowl hood with the black stripes gives this Camaro a nice stance.

This Camaro has the floorboards still covered in the original red oxide primer it left the factory with over 43 years ago and is also undercoated to keep it preserved as it was before. This is a power steering / power brake / Ac car. It got the Hedman headers, MSD wires, tune-up performed, and all the fluids and filters checked and replaced as necessary. This car runs great and sounds even better!

The flaws on this Camaro seem to be the typical flaws you would encounter on all the 1st. and 2nd generation Camaros. The corners of the dash show a little rust and the dash pad is slightly lifted from the sun. The dash pad is fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. The air conditioning compressor was removed to install a new one but left that way. The speakers are not connected to the radio. This is not a numbers matching show car...but it probably one of the NICEST and better than”driver quality" cars you will ever find!
