Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko Tribute

We are selling this Camaro for the Oregonian's Credit Union in Portland, OR. This is a standard/base Camaro made to replicate a "Yenko". 4 speed manual Muncie transmission with Hurst shifter, power front disc brakes, 12 bolt rear end, aluminum radiator, 17" chrome American Racing Torq. Thrust II wheels. AM-FM Cassette radio. Camaro is finished in Tuxedo Black with white "Yenko" stripes. Paint has a nice shine. Body is straight. Small (size of a quarter) rust bubble on driver side quarter panel. Black upholstery is in good condition.The car has current Oregon registration and a clean title.
Currently we have receipts in excess of $6,000. for repairs completed by Jim Estes Garage, Oregon City, OR a well known and highly respected classic vehicle garage. Repairs include:
  • Fresh/Reman 454 (350HP) engine (S&J Engines, Inc. Spokane, WA)
  • Engine comes with 7yr and 100,000 mile transferable warranty
  • New Alternator
  • New Starter
  • New Flywheel
Front end work including:
  • Lower ball joints
  • Idler arm
  • Pitman arm
  • 2 new front tires
We have also installed a complete exhaust system from the chrome headers back. It sounds awesome!
The car was sold in July of 2015 at the Mecum Auction in Harrisburg, PA for over $40,000. Auction highlights (available on-line) indicated a complete body off restoration in 2015. The car was again sold in Aug 2016 in Eugene, OR for $39,900.
Please look over the attached pictures. We have made every attempt to present this car in a detailed and representative fashion. Understand this is not a trailer dolly, not an original Yenko and not a show piece. Its a nice tribute with some great features and strong bones. The miles are listed at an odometer reading of 14,596, however the true miles are unknown to the seller.
