I will be taking a road trip from Houston to Galena OH and back sometime in the next month to pick up a truck that i bought. If anybody along the way is interested in the S10 i am willing to put the truck on a trailer or tow dolly and bring it with me to help with delivery. This is a great truck that has had alot of work done and has alot of good upgrades and would make a very solid daily driver once the engine is fixed. This is a current list of what all has been done to the truck. and what needs to be done. This is a good S10 truck. Regular Cab Short Bed. its straight and rust free. originally sold in central Texas when new. 4. 3 V6 TBI 4L60E Automatic transmission. I've owned the truck for a few years and up until recently it has been a very reliable truck that I was driving almost daily. The Good: New Fuel Tank. Fuel Pump and Sending Unit. Filter replaced as well. New Engine and transmission Mounts. New Radiator. Water Pump. upper/Lower hoses. thermostat. tstat housing. heater core. heater hoses. Engine has new Brass Freeze Plugs Full Tune Up. distributor cap and rotor. plug wires and plugs. Rebuilt TBI Unit with new gaskets and FPR. all 4 shocks are new. Has a Kenwood CD Stereo and all speakers are kenwood in stock locations. Black Leather Bucket seats from a Blazer. Grant aftermarket steering wheel. Sliding rear window. Tires are about 50% on stock 14" wheels. Transmission has a mild shift kit installed and has fresh fluid and filter. New High Flow Catalytic Converter. New O2 Sensor New Donut Gaskets on the manifolds. Brand New Dynomax Ultra Flo 3" in/out Stainless Muffler and Flowmaster 3" mandrel tailpipe. aluminized and exits in stock location. Battery is less than a year old. 01 Blazer front disk brake upgrade rear axle from 01 Blazer with 3. 42 and disk brakes. 7. 625 3. 42 open diff Brand New front and rear brake hoses ZQ8 Steering Box Brand New MOOG Idler Arm ZQ8/Blazer 33mm front sway bar ZQ8 factory front coil springs. 1. 5" drop ZQ8 factory rear leaf springs. 1. 5" drop The Bad: Engine spun a rod bearing. Had Excellent oil Pressure just sounded like a diesel. Drivers side window regulator roller is broke so the window doesn't stay on it. The Paint is pretty rough but still shiny in some spots. Drivers side door hinges are pretty worn. as is typical for these trucks. Black fender flares pictured are no longer on the truck. The body is very clean and straight. rust free. Only damage is to the drivers side fender on the front corner and the front bumper is alittle tweaked. plastic trim on rear bumper is in bad shape. There is a dent in the top/center of the tailgate. Clean clear Texas title in hand. Like i said. this would be a great truck. and if i didn't have 2 other S10's and a Sonoma GT id be keeping it and making it my DD. but just dont have room for them all. Also. wanted to add that i have a good used shortblock from an 01 Blazer that has ~125K Miles on it that i paid 350 for and am willing to include it with the truck for what i have it in. then all you have to do is swap them out you've got a great truck. Will also include a complete gasket kit with the shortblock. Ok. i will post up the route i plan on taking on the road trip so lets say if your not more than an hour off this route im willing to bring the truck to you. if your further please be willing to meet me somewhere along my route and have a tow dolly or trailer.
