Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe |
Gorgeous 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. I purchased this car 10-years ago from the 2nd owner, who showcased the car frequently as an all original survivor with only 51,000 miles. In 2010, the car was awarded the prestigious "National First Prize" W24752 from the Antique Automobile Club of America in New York. I left the badge on the car as a reminder of the Camaro's rich history. I've always had a passion for cars and motorcycles and enjoy the hunt for rides that are unmolested from the sins of body filler, bad welds, improper surface preparation and overall poor-quality workmanship. These unmolested cars are very rare to find. After driving the '67 to a few cruise-ins and local shows, I decided to make a few modifications to the original drum brakes, suspension and the 195 HP 327 engine before simply diving in feet first to fully customize my ride. So, I decided to totally restore the car... tip to tip. Many purists might hate me for taking a survivor and making it my own, but there's so many aftermarket parts available today to make the car safer with improved suspension, brakes, handling, and finish with the highest quality paint and materials. Above all, I'm a paint guy and have worked for top global coating companies all of my career. I've tried to capture everything here, so below you will find a listing of modifications that have been made:
