Description of 1962 Chevrolet Impala |
1962 Chevy Impala 4 Door Sedan in original unrestored condition. Originally from Pennsylvania so it has some rust but still solid. Good body, new complete dual exhaust, new brake system, hoses and hard lines. New master cylinder, wheel cylinders, rubber and metal lines. new "white wall" tires. Has rust in the normal x frame Chevy places (trunk shelf, inner rockers, and corners of front floor pans). Hood also has some rust holes. Frame is solid. Has typical wear and tear for a 57 year old car. Original running and driving factory 250HP V8-327 4 barrel carb. Complete factory stock air cleaner to oil pan. Unmolested survivor. 3 speed on the tree manual transmission, original 3.36:1 rear axle. I am told the original owner custom ordered this car from the dealer. Just over 100k miles I am told (odometer shows 00072). Only modification is a conversion to the later model spin on oil filter for ease of oil changes, and an amp/oil pressure gauge unser the dash to monitor oil pressure and voltage. Factory hubcaps included, fresh spark plugs, wires, fuel pump, and clean title. Rear quarter panels were professionally repaired on both sides and are in primer. Has Average interior wear on carpet, seats, and headliner as seen in the photos Have only taken it up and down the street but fires up every time and runs smoothly. Clear title and keys in hand. Emergency brake cable is currently disconnected (new one half installed and did not reach). Sold as is, as pictured, with no warranty. please see photos Car is located in Central New Jersey 08873 $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close |
