I've owned this car for 20 years. It's restoration was completed back in 2004 and only kept in a garage since in between cruise nights. You can hop in and drive it to Florida, I've put about 20,000 miles on it and never had any issues. Engine, transmission, and rear end were rebuilt back in 2004 and have all been maintained to keep like new. The floors mostly still have '68 factory sprayed undercoating which can be seen in the pictures. The original vinyl top was removed, roof brought down to bare metal, and 2k urethane coated to prevent any rust starting up underneath the replacement top. Floors and trunk all solid, no rust. Power steering and power disc brakes. Engine is a 1966 chevelle L35 396 with comp 268XE cam. Has stainless headers into 2.5" exhaust and moroso spiral mufflers. Transmission is a th400. Rear end is a 12 bolt with oem gm 3.31 posi. Custom dash cluster with aftermarket gauges that all work. All the trim is original 1968 factory installed trim except the back corners of the vinyl top and the quarter window trim. This car has been in the rain maybe 3 times in 20 years, well maintained, and ready for its next owner. Originally a v8 car from the factory, but not a SS 138 car.
