Description of 1980 Chevrolet K30

Up for auction is a rare, 1980 Chevrolet Silverado K30, Crew Cab, 4 speed manual, 4 wheel drive with a, 14 bolt rear differential with a GM Locker, Dana 60 front differential. This truck runs and drives wonderful. It has a 350 engine with 103570 actual miles. I have replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor. It has dual tanks that work flawlessly and are clean. I have had the drive train totally rebuilt, new brake calipers, brake pads, brake hoses, wheel cylinders, the rotors turned, brake lines are new front to back, I have replaced the axle joint and packed the front axle bearings and hubs. The tie rods have been replaced also. A new 3 core aluminum radiator, along with new hoses, and clamps. I have also replaced the seals in the Dana 60 front differential, and the 14 bolt rear differential. The fluids in the front and rear differentials have been changed, along with the transmission and transfer case. I had Onsite oil of Jefferson City, professionaly install a brand new Heavy Duty LUK clutch kit. I installed a pair of new 1 ton leaf spring packs, the old ones had a broken leaf on one side so I replaced both of them with new. I also had Four Wheel Parts Plus, professionally instal a 2 inch lift with four new Rancho 5000 shocks. I have also replaced the exhaust with dual exhaust and glass packs, it sounds great. I also installed a new Edlebrock 600 CFM carburetor and replaced all the vacume hoses and lines throughout the engine. The a/c has been recharged, a new AC compressor, and blows cold and will freeze you out. The 285/75R16 Mud Terrain tires are in good shape and over half tread with newer Chevrolet aluminum wheels. I Installed a new receiver hitch and ran new wiring for trailer brakes, and installed a new brake box. I removed the intake manifold, cleaned and installed new seals, and replaced. The top end was clean, and looked great. The engine is strong and runs good. There is no Gooseneck ball in it,this truck has led a charmed life and has not had it's guts pulled out with heavy loads. The front fenders have some rust, the body is straight with some surface rust spots, it does have some rust holes like you would expect (See Photos) it just needs some cosmetic help. The interior is as nice as I have seen on a truck of this age. I am the second owner, it has been kept inside most of its life. I have detailed files and receipts from throughout the build. If you're looking for a good solid 1 ton crew cab, this is it. You will not be disappointed, don't let this one get away. You just can't find a truck like this anymore. Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
