This is a one of a kind barn find! 1940 Chevy Coupe, car ran and drove and parked in the barn in 1984. When i purchased the car i pulled it out of the barn that was starting to fall in on top of the car, i have listed a picture of the car with the shed on top of the car and a picture of the car on the trailer when i returned home. The car does not have working brakes, pulled the plugs oiled the cylinders and pulled starter and turned the motor by hand, cleaned the gas tank. Changed the fuel pump. new plugs and wires. Motor runs great no smoke. I did put a new single exhaust under the car. The drivers bench seat was refurbished. Took apart to clean the car inside and out and lost the vin tag. The state of idaho issued a new vin for the car. New 14" radials were added. Appliance for the 60's looks. The car was v8 converted in the 60's, has a '58 4 barrel 283 cast iron power glide. runs and shifts and drives. New Door glass was installed. Needs windshield replaced, also the brakes need to be replaced. New speedometer cable was installed and works! I did test the wipers and they also work! Lights? Radio? RatRod restoration is a work in progress! This car is Sold AS/IS. More pics upon request. Rust wise the floor pan is good, the rear roll pan has some rust holes. see pictures.
