Description of 1965 Chevrolet Corvette |
Selling my baby of 14 years. She has been a lot of fun and a work of passion for our family. All work was completed by professional local Southern California shops that specialize in classic cars and hot rods. This car had a body off restoration to powder coat the frame and hand bend all the brake lines to perfection. This corvette has a 383-stroked, V8 short block pushing 455 horsepower with 484 ft-lb of torque according to our fresh engine-out dyno testing rebuild. She has rack & pinion steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, 4-speed manual transmission, black soft-top only, two-tone big block stinger hood, badged as a 396 Turbojet, custom retractable radio antenna, oversized radiator and fan, MSD electronic ignition, Hooker Headers, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, Dakota Digital modern calibrated gauges and matching clock, Scat Rally seats with bolstered sides wrapped in leather to compliment paint, Shift boot and center console accents from same leather hide as seats, Rolls Royce wool carpeting with side piping of matching leather hide, less that 100 miles on total engine rebuild with hot-cam, tires and wheels have less than 200 miles on them, Clifford security alarm with power locking door locks. She was fun to work on but just never had time to drive her so passing her onto someone that will get her out on the road and open her up like she enjoys! Just had her professionally appraised for $107,500.00 which we can document. Please do not ask what our reserve is, just keep bidding and you'll soon find out. |
