Original owner until 2006, A home economics teacher / NCRS judge in Grand Junction Colorado.She used the car often and maintained it religiously until the 96,000 mile mark in 1985.At that time with NCRS in mind she decided to put the car back in as new condition. The car was stripped and painted ( still looks great today) in the correct color. The engine was refreshed and new carpets were also installed.Just about everything else is GM factory original ... not China reproductions.The car was then brought to shows by enclosed trailer throughout the Midwest for the next 9 years . It took over 80 awards in that time and little things were tweaked along the way and it began receiving top flight awards ( 4 ) .In 1993 she got the award she was after a Bloomington Silver. The owner had health issues in 1999 and the car was stored in a climate controlled garage until 2006 . It had 104,500 miles on it. In 2006 her financial person bought the car to help her with her expenses .He cleaned it up...changed the fluids ...had it for 4 years. With 106,000 miles on the car he sold it to me in 2010 and I had it shipped to Connecticut. The car now has 109,900 miles and has been totally reliable for me . I did install new foam and new seat covers ( I saved old ones....in pretty good condition )I did not care for the patina on the originals.I have the bias ply white walls shown in some photos .The radials are on it now. The original carb has been restored and is on the car . Everything works ...headlight, wiper, key buzze, interior lights . The clock works sometimes...most of fiber optics work ...a/c needs charge I removed belt . Since the car was painted...refreshed and trailered to shows 13,000 miles ago it has been very well taken care of and I believe the car is in the same condition if not better . Car also has t&t whee, p.s, p.b, am-fm . 4 t-3 lights and matching numbers. Every receipt since new all in order .Thanks for reading the story. Text or call 860-299-5229 calls before 6pm eastern .
