Description of 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Wagon |
I am proud to present for sale a very rare 1967 Chevelle / Malibu station wagon. Its is powered by a 327 hp V8 motor, 2 barrel carbureto, automatic transmission .What makes her so rare? She is a ONE owner California car. Runs and drives and is registered through Dec. 2019. This is an all "Numbers Matching" car with the original motor, transmission and rear end. This car is unmolested. It has zero rust issues including all floor pans, rear pan and rockers. Under the hood is very clean and rust free including the fender wells and fire wall. The under carriage and chassis are surprisingly rust and dent free. The panels on the car, doors, fenders etc are solid and straight. All of the door and rear hatch and hood seams are perfect, they all line up nicely. The hood and top of the car are surprisingly straight and dent free. The rear drivers side panel appears to have been re painted, but the only body filler on the entire car is on the very top edge of the panel. This is a very easy repaint. Just remove the trim, float the few dings that are on it,sand, primer and paint. There are zero dents or major body work to be done. She needs new interior. The great thing is, is all of the parts for this car are readily available. The passenger side rear cruising window was broken out, but I do have period correct original replacement glass for it. I also have all of the chrome trim that was removed from the ca, "just a few pieces" all in nice condition including the trim for the window that needs to be replaced. She has newer exhaust, newer brakes that stop fine with no pulling. She has a nearly new full set of "Kumho" steel belted radial tires. She has the original racing rally wheels with beautiful original chrome caps. The power steering is smooth with no play in the steering wheel. the grill is nearly perfect. The bumpers are straight, no dents but they do need to be re dipped. All of the badges are on the car and in great condition with no cracks or bends in them. The badges are "Chevelle" "Malibu" and "327 V8".I also have the original rear black plate and the original owners manual as well. She starts and runs great. Very strong motor. The transmission shifts perfectly. Original owner states the original motor has been rebuilt and has about 10k miles on it. Odometer reads 14,300 but the odometer does not work. It runs VERY strong. The car has no leaks and does not smoke. The only aftermarket part on this car are headers which dosen't hurt the value at all. It actually sounds really great. The motor purrs with zero missing or movement when shes running. You can contact me for videos because you have to hear this car run and see her drive.I use NADA Guides to put a value an classics. They reach their value price going by past recent sales and listings. Guys, there is not another one in the country like this. I've looked there are none. I did find a few remods with different drive trains and after market parts. They are pulling big bucks but not like this one has the potential to do. NADA values this car, the way she sits, existing and running with all original parts at 31,720 with an average retail at 49,400 and a high retail at 103,610. I have included the NADA report with the pictures. But I always double check. I contacted Hemmings Motors to get their value on the car.I spoke with Hemmings associate Thomas Comerro and he told me they use NADA Guides as well to value their classic cars.that was good enough for me. So a 1967, 327 v8 all numbers matching, rust free one owner California car Try and find another one. Purchased from the original owners daughter, original owner deceased. Daughter transferred title into her name in December 2018. Clean title in hand.
