FYI, I cleaned the interior but nothing has armor all on it. Wheels would shine up really well with a cleaning. I've owned this truck for 10 years. I bought this truck in Alaska in 2010. This was a low mileage truck. It was a North Slope Oil Field truck for most of its life. The second owner bought it from the an oil company. At some point he replaced the thermostat and put it in backwards. It overheated and the head gasket blew (combustion gas escaping through coolant). I bought it in that state and I had the head gasket replaced at that time. I drove it back from Alaska and I've put about 30,000 miles on it since then. It's been a great truck and runs very well. When I bought it the odometer showed 37,xxx miles on it. It is currently showing 67,566. It's possible that it was rolled over but I am not sure. My shop here in PA has been adding 100k when they report the mileage. -Gets 20 MPG if you don't have a heavy foot-Has enough torque to pull a house down.-Twin factory fuel tanks Please feel free to ask any questions or let me know if you'd like to see the truck. I can coordinate delivery at your cost anywhere in the lower 48. In my opinion this is a great truck in good condition, but, it is sold as-is. Newer stuff and upgrades: -All weatherstripping and window felts just replaced-Custom rear bumper with LED flood/strobe lights (white and amber)-HID headlights-Right fuel tank -Fuel Injectors-Power steering pump-Twin steering dampener-AC Delco Extreme Duty drilled brakes-H2 wheels, tires have less than 5k miles on them-Rancho RS shocks-Tilt steering column-2004 F150 split front seats (driver power, passenger manual)-Rear slider window (with laser etchedeagles)-Coverlay dash cover-High flow air filter-Under bed mount spare tire carrier-CB radio-Single DIN CD player with aux in-Door speakers-Rear cab mount 6X9" speakers Issues:-Has an oil leak from the rocker arm cover gasket. About a half quart between oil changes. Been that way since I did the head gaskets... I didn't use any sealant on the cover gaskets...-Wipers do not return home on their own. The wiper park board attached to the wiper motor has a bad connection, just needs a dab of solder or replaced. I haven't dealt with it because you can park them with the stalk.-With the wider tires on the H2 wheels the tires will rub at lock going to the right. No problem going left. Could install wheel spacers to solve this. Maintenance log:
Spares Included:-Factory manual-Hayes manual-Radiator hoses (new) -Drive belts (new)-Engine gasket set except for head gasket stuff-Winter wipers (new)-Transmission filter (new)-OEM Fuel injector set (used, need cleaning)-Other stuff I can't remember |
