GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1953 Chevrolet 3100. It is powered by a 216ci inline 6 cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission that are believed to be original to the truck. Both the engine and transmission are in strong working condition and are sure to keep on truckin' for years to come. This beautiful truck looks spectacular in its Victory Red paint and various chrome finishes. The black painted interior features a light beige bench seat that... is free of any major rips or tears. Unlike modern cars, the truck offered here doesn't feature power steering, power brakes. Though this is no reason to be afraid. This truck drives exceptionally well and turns and stops as well as any 50's truck should. Accompanying the truck is all receipts and documents that show the meticulous care that this truck has received. The Advance Design trucks rolled out by GM were radically different in 1947 than pre-WWII pickups. Before this time, pickups produced were essentially glued on flatbeds to whatever was produced. GM made a truck that was designed for more than just having a place to put stuff. It was a full-on new version of the automobile and sales took off.
