Description of 1968 Chevrolet Corvette

This is a 1968 Corvette coupe. Originally silver. it now has a virtually flawless burgundy paint job. The interior is original and is in great shape. All chrome is nice except left front and left rear bumper sections. which are acceptable. but not perfect. Speedometer & tachometer work. Manual steering. Frame and birdcage appear sound. Nice Cragar wheels and good tires. Odometer reading may or may not be accurate. Runs and sounds great. Engine: 383 c. i. Speed-O-Motive short block. Dart heads. exhaust headers. Comp. Cams High Energy cam. Aluminum intake with Holley carb. Approximately 400 h. p. Engine believed to have about 5. 00 miles since new. Engine information was provided when I purchased the car. and is believed accurate to the best of my knowledge. but not guaranteed. No receipts available. Transmission: Muncie 4-speed Rear end: stock Corvette Rear window is in place. but may require re-sealing to be water-tight. Windshield wiper grille looks good. but is cracked and needs to be replaced. Wipers & headlight doors need vacuum relay valve. Above parts are readily available on-line. Car is titled as a Maryland street rod. which does not require inspection. Other States vary. Selling to make room for a 2015 Corvette Z06.
