This 1973 C3 Corvette Stingray rolled off the Chevy assembly line as nothing but a beautiful, raw, driving machine. No power steering, no automatic transmission, no tilt steering wheel, no A/C...nothing to rob power or interfere between the driver and the road. I added a power brake kit and brand new calipers and pads on all 4 corners because I wanted to be able to stop this beast as well as it goes. The only nod to creature comforts is the near pristine leather interior. Non-original replacement crate engine built to L82 performance specs. Original Muncie M20 4 speed transmission with Hurst competition shifter installed for track proven reliability, increased strength and durability, and adjustable gear stops preventing over shifts for prolonged transmission life. 3.55:1 axle ratio launches like a jet and absolutely flattens mountain roads. Custom paint is two years old. New T-top and door weather seals keep it absolutely water tight. I wouldn't think twice about jumping in and driving it on Route 66 out to California and back. BTW, the '05 Corvette pictured is not included in this auction. Sorry, just thought is was a cool comparison of two cars built 30 years apart. One last thing--Chevy has confirmed that the 2020 C8 will NOT be available with a manual transmission. Bid right and own a piece of automotive history that we likely won't see again.
There is no warranty on this car. It is a restored vehicle that actually has less "wear and tear" than may be expected for its age. Actual mileage is unknown due to inoperative speedometer, but is mileage exempt in Florida. Personal inspections are encouraged. Title in hand for quick transfer of ownership, however, the car will not be released until the funds clear. Bidders with 0 or low feedback ratings must contact me before bidding. I may be able to help with delivery for short distances, but contact me before bidding to coordinate. I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. Good luck and thanks for your interest!
