I am listing this vehicle on consignment for the owner. This delivery sedan was used infrequently in parades, etc. by the owner of the Lake Placid Howard Johnson Restaurant and HotelThe owner had the current paint and decal scheme done in 2003.The sedan was serviced in May 2019 at a reputable car dealership in Saranac Lake. I spoke with the service department manager and he gave me a copy of the work order.(Scan of work order available upon request)We also have the original '1956 Guide to your New Chevrolet' owners manual as well as numerous service records/receipts, also available upon requestPer his observations:The chassis/frame is in "pristine condition" (his words)The transmission works but may need some tuning/adjustmentThe brakes will need work (unspecified) in the near future......At the moment the sedan starts, idles, drives and brakes so this can probably be driven home by the buyer.....I took 66 pictures and made the following observations based on my inspection. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic or a car dealer.Observations:Roof is dent freeShocks seem to be goodWindshield seal in very good condition Fading of decalsSurface rust and pitting of the chrome and steel in various placesDriver side mirror is a bit loosePassenger side door latch needs adjustmentBrake light lenses slightly fadedDoor interior liners are curling/peeling......Dimensions:16 feet 9 inches long6 feet 4 inches wide5 feet 5 inches high265 small block V-8 engine......The sedan is currently parked in Saranac Lake NY (12983) and may be inspected by appointment only.
