45,354 original miles! Same owner for 36 years and he parked it and never used it. Literally only a few miles were put on. Has original proteprotect-o-plate which is a metal warranty tag that has all the pertinent information when the car was sold new. The motor in this car was replaced but the trans and rear #s match what's on the protect-o-plate. EXTERIOR: Factory Bolero red car with no ugly vinyl top. It's only had a one time exterior repaint. The door jambs still has the original paint and weatherstrips in very good shape. This car has its original metal including 1/4 panels. The body is straight, the paint is polished to a very glossy smooth finish. All of the trim and chrome is original except rechromed bumpers. It even has it's original metal door edge gaurds and they are not beat up. It has it's original glass including windshield. Wheels were upgraded with 15x8 Corvette rallys with new trim and BFG tires. INTERIOR: It appears to be all original except for the two bucket seats were reupholstered. The door panels, rear upholstery, headliner, visors are all original and in really very good shape. Bottom edge of the driver door panel has some cracks. The original console is in excellent shape. Has original reverse lockout shifter with chrome ball. The dash area is all original in very good unabused condition. It has the factory gauges in the dash and the factory blinker tachometer. Even has original am radio. Steering wheel is very nice original. In the glove box is the original pouch with the owner's manual, sales literature, miscellaneous receipts and the protecto plate. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a replacement engine, upgraded to a 454. The motor compartment is kept stock looking including 396 decals. Has reproduction valve covers, air cleaner, GM hoses and clamps, spring clamp battery cables. Has a new cadmium plated power brake booster, new master and lines. Has power steering with the original remote reservoir. The assembly line markings were replicated. The engine bay is a nice satin black finish. Under the hood has new insulation and hood lamp. The jambs still the original red paint. Upgraded HEI ignition. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Bottom of the trunk lid has the original red paint with original jacking instruction and posi decals. Has trunk light. Inside the trunk has been resprayed with spatter finish paint. It does have a rally wheel spare with a good tire. Has jack assembly and new rubber mat. UNDERSIDE: In front the suspension has been rebuilt, new shocks. Has swaybar and new disc brake system. Looking up at the motor it looks clean. Starter and fuel pump look new. Has the original Muncie 4-speed trans it was born with, matches the p-o-p. In back it has new fuel tank and sending unit, new shocks and a 12 bolt rear end. The rear end is the original 3.31 posi it was born with, matches the p-o-p. There is no doubt in my mind this is a low mile car with a lot of original qualities. Great features and colors too!
