Description of 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe |
Car has approximately 93K miles, believed to be original. Motor number matches VIN on car, runs strong and has no issues. Original carb and ignition replaced with new Holley carb and HEI ignition system (originals ship with car). Car has a high torque mini starter and starts quickly even after sitting for months. Has a new battery replaced in 2019. Car has recent basecoat/clearcoat paint and all new interior including door panels, trim paint, carpet, seat padding, seat covers, all window felt and seals. Any trim items that were worn, were treated to dark saddle restoration paint that matches nicely. All gauges work. Recent shocks/tires and rims. Original rear springs replaced with single spring. Car had the current Hooker side exhaust on it when purchased by me. Car has new windshield. No issues with clutch or transmission. Vacuum system operates lights and wipers. Original radio was replaced with a custom bluetooth compatible sound system which incorporated a custom made dual speaker "Stingray" insignia enclosure for the trunk. I removed both during the interior installation (there was also LED lighting under the dash which was removed). Original radio also ships with the car (upgraded sound system, subwoofers and Python alarm system will need to be reattached as new owner sees fit. Car ships with custom car cover and covers for both T Tops. I have a clear title in my name.
