OK, BEEN THINKING OF SELLING IT FOR A WHILE, BUT DIDNT WANT TO. I JUST DO NOT HAVE TIME OR SPACE TO FINISH IT. THE TRUCK IS FROM THE SOUTH AND HAS NEVER SEEN MD WINTER. THE UNDER SIDE OF THE BODY AND FRAME, LINES ETC IS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE BODY HAD DINGS AND DENTS BUT NOT MANY. IT WAS RESTORED AND PAINTED BY THE P/O BUT HE HAD TO USE IT AS A DAILY FOR A BIT AND AS SUCH IT SHOWS. ITS A GREAT DRIVER QUALITY BODY AND PAINT. THE BACK WINDOW MUST LEAK BECAUSE BOTH CAB CORNERS HAVE BUBBLED UP ON ME. HE SHAVED THE TAILGATE AND DID A CHEAPO BED LINER. IT WAS A 350 TBI AND 700R4 TRUCK. THE MOTOR WAS SLUDGED UP BUT RAN OK WHEN I BOUGHT IT, THE TRANS DIED WITHIN 100 MILES OF MY OWNERSHIP. THE CURRENT ENGINE IS 4.8 LS MOTOR THAT I RE-RINGED, NEW ROD BEARINGS, BILLET TIMING CHAIN SET, COMP CAMS THUMPR CAM, HEADS MILLED, CLEANED UP AND MATCHING COMP SPRINGS. STOCK USED 4L60E TRANS WITH DEEP ALUMINUM PAN AND NEW FILTER. SEEMS TO SHIFT GOOD. 1-2 SHIFT IS SLOW AT WOT, BUT I READ THAT THATS COMMON FOR A STOCKER. I BUILT THE HARNESS AND ITS NEAT AND TIDY. NEW BATTERY. DIRTY DINGO MOUNTS. HEADMAN HEADERS. BUG Y-PIPE INTO 3" THRUSH WELDED SOUNDS OK. EXHAUST IS BAND CLAMPED TOGETHER FOR REMOVAL/CHANGING IT EASIER. I NOTCHED THE CROSS MEMBER TO ACCOMMODATE THE EXHAUST (NOT A PROFESSIONAL FAB GUY BUT IT WORKS) REAR IS STOCK AND LEAKS. I HAVE A 14 BOLT REAR THAT IS THE CORRECT BOLT IN REAR THAT WILL GO WITH THE TRUCK. THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD SHAPE. THE SEAT HAS A RIPPED SPOT ALONG THE TOP IN THE BACK. CHASSIS: HAS BELTECH SPRINGS UP FRONT WITH NEW BALL JOINTS AND CALIPER ON DRIVER SIDE, HAVE JOINTS FOR PASS SIDE BUT NOT HAD TIME TO INSTALL. THE REAR HAS BELTECH DROP SHACKLE KIT. I THINK ITS A 2"/4" KIT BUT WAS ON THERE WHEN I BOUGT IT. i WAS GOING TO NOTCH THE FRAME AND DROP THE REAR AND GET SPINDLES FOR THE FRONT. HAS NEW DROP IN FUEL PUMP. NEW TRANS LINES ARE PUSHLOCK AND SQUEEZE CLAMPED AND WRAPPED. I INTEGRATED THE FUEL LINES WITH FITTINGS AND PUSHLOCK HIGH PSI INJECTION HOSE. ALSO WRAPPED. NEED FINSHED: HARNESS TO TRUCK INTEGRATION. I HAVE THE HARNESS RUN INSIDE AND ITS LABELED. I RAN THE SPEEDO, TACH, OBD2 WIRES ETC. BUT HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO FINISH. ALSO RAN ANTI LOCK WIRES IN MY HARNESS. I MOUNTED THE STOCK A/C COMPRESSOR WITH LS BRACKETS- BRACKETS BUT DID NOT FINISH WIRING FOR THE A/C TO WORK. THERE MAY BE OTHER MINOR THINGS BUT ITS PRETTY COMPLETE. THE COLD AIR INTAKE IS JUST SITTING ON THE STOCK PASS SIDE BATTERY TRAY, I WAS GOING TO SCORE A STOCK AIRBOX FROM A NEWER TRUCK AT THE JUNKYARD AND RUN THE PIPE TO THAT. COULD USE A SMALL STALL CONVERTER. BOTTOM LINE IS I WAS BUILDING IT TO BE NICE DRIVER. I USED ALL GOOD STUFF AND DID THINGS CLEANLY BECAUSE I WANTED A FACTORY LOOK. I RUNS AND DRIVES NOW, BUT NEEDS TO BE TUNED. IM INCLUDING BRAND NEW HP TUNERS MPVI 2 AND HAVE ALREADY BEEN DATA LOGGING TRIPS AND MAKING MINOR CHANGES. I JUST DO NOT HAVE TIME TO FINISH IT HOW I WANT AND DONT WANT IT SITTING THROUGH ANOTHER WINTER. IT SOUNDS GOOD AND RUNS DECENT BUT DOES NEED A TUNE. I DONT HAVE TIME TO FULLY LEARN HP TUNERS AND DO A GOOD TUNE. I HAVE 2 KIDS IN SPORTS, WORK 60 HRS A WEEK, AND THE WIFE WORKS TOO. WE CAMP ON WEEKENDS WE DONT WORK. JUST A BAD TIME FOR A PROJECT. TIRES ARE NEW THIS SPRING, WHEELS NEED TO BE POLISHED BUT ARE GOOD WHEELS 17'S. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS, COME SEE IT BEFORE BIDDING IN NEW WINDSOR MD IF YOU MUST. WILL ADD PICS IF NEEDED. I PROBLY HAVE 7K INVESTED AND CRAZY TIME MESSING WITH IT. REALIZE I WONT GET THAT BACK AS ITS UN FINISHED. ( I BUILT IT IN MY GRAVEL DRIVEWAY AND SHED) IM AN ENGINE GUY, BUILT SBC AND CAT DIESELS MORE THAN I CAN COUNT. ENGINE HAS PROBLY 80 MILES AND 2HRS TOTAL RUN TIME. CARRIES 40 PSI HOT AT IDLE, CRUISES AT 180 AND CREEPS UP TO 200 AT STOP LIGHTS. (CLUTCH FAN) PLAN WAS TO LOWER IT MORE, GET THE TUNE RIGHT AND THEN OVER THIS WINTER TAKE IT APART, REALLY CLEAN AND PAINT THE FRAME (SOME IS DONE SINCE PICS WERE TAKEN). PUT CAB CORNERS ON. THROW A STALL CONVERTER IN AND GET IT PAINTED IN THE SPRING AND ROCK IT OUT FOR A WHILE. IT DOESNT REALLY NEED ALL THAT DEPENDING ON YOUR INTENDED USE, BUT IT WOULD BE SUPER NICE CLEAN TRUCK THEN. CURRENTLY ID GIVE IT AN 8/10. no warranty, no returns. Pick up will occur at New Windsor MD carnival grounds so trucks/trailers have easy access.
