Description of 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z |
1988 Camaro IROC-, 5.7L TPI, automatic, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, p-seat, loaded with all optionsexcept leather and t-tops. This is a very clean southern California vehicle with only85,000 original miles. Never any body damage, this super straight rust-freecar has a show quality paint job (from about 15 years ago)that still looks great since this car has always been garaged. The factory wheels have been professionally refinished. The drive-train is stock and original. This pampered vehicle has beenwell maintained. It drives great, and is completely road worthy. No oil leaks. With the exception of the minor issues identified below, this car is in immaculate conditioninside and out. The issues with this car are: 1) the A/C still consists of the original R-12 compressor(yes, it works and blows cold - a testament to the originality of this car)but it has a noisy bearing; 2) the original Delco Bose stereo stopped working recently;3) the rear hatch struts need replacement; and 4) the driver side door sill plastictrim piece is broken. As far as paint issues, see the photo of the one very minordoor ding on the passenger door. Also, note the very minor paint scratcheson the front nose. This car has a clean title and a clean Car-Fax. Bid with confidence on this “NO RESERVE” auction for this iconic classic. This low mileage IROC is one you can proudly display on any showroom floor.Contact me for any questions about this ruby red gem. |
