I bought this van 11/18 and planned on turning it into a camper van to travel and live in and have almost 20k put into it and have since decided I want to get a 4x4 ambulance to convert instead so I can stand and put in a shower. It is a 76 so it is far from perfect so let's start with the newly discovered cons: took the van to get a heater core put in last month and somehow or another while the dash was off something happened and now the headlights won't work but the side markers and all of that do, the blower motor for the heater does not work but it does for the ac (maybe something got loose or disconnected??), had the van painted at Maaco and there are some chips that you can see in the pics so it does need touching up, there are a few really small dents here and there on the sides but nothing crazy, had a maxxair fan installed but not hooked up since I was going to run solar for it (hence why the ceiling panel has not been put back up), light surface rust on the ceiling where foam was used as some type of insulation but it didn't concern me so I left it alone, all the rubber door and windshield seals are new but the 2 front and the slider doors do leak a bit, Crager rims have a few spots of rust on them.Pros: new tires, weatherstripping, radiator, coolant reservoir, alternator, battery, all 4 side marker lenses, starter, heater core, wheel bearings and seals, rotors, and carpet. You can drive this van with 1 finger and when you let go of the wheel it drives straight. The van runs very strong and makes people smile and gets comments everywhere it goes. Also the different shops comment on how great of shape the van is in and looks like there are several new parts underneath, no body rust either. I have all of the receipts for the stuff Ive had done and a few receipts the last owner gave me. This van has been converted to fuel injection from a 1994 Chevy truck by previous owner. Van will come with the roll of marine carpet Incase you want to do the walls and ceiling and will also come with other misc things. Please reach out with any questions you may have.
